Currently, our focus lies on three significant national parks : Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra,Established in 1955 and declared a Project Tiger Reserve in 1993.Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve is regarded as one of the world’s most preferred tiger destinations, a glittering jewel in the Project Tiger crown. Tigers (over 80 in the reserve and 200 in the larger landscape) are secure and able to multiply in the presence of humans. Thanks to the reserve’s functional connectivity with other protected areas in the central Indian tiger landscape, Tadoba’s tigers are now found restocking the gene pools of protected areas such as Navegaon-Nagzira, Umred-Karhandla and Tipeshwar, and forests as far afield as Kawal, Nagarjunsagar and Indravati. Sundarbans National Park in West Bengal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it stands as the world's largest mangrove ecosystem. Next is Sundarban National Park , Sundarbans houses over 300 bird species, saltwater crocodiles, dolphins, and the iconic Royal Bengal Tiger. Local communities, despite facing risks such as tiger encounters and snake bites, engage in activities like fishing and honey collection. We aim to document their unique experiences and share these compelling narratives.

India, a land of diverse cultures, livelihoods, and people, boasts over 700 distinct tribal communities. Among these, Assam is home to a considerable number. In this vibrant tapestry, lies Kaziranga National Park, celebrated for its remarkable success in conserving endangered species, particularly the one-horned rhinoceros. The park offers captivating wildlife safaris, providing an opportunity to explore its rich biodiversity.
